- Your phone or a shop computer with internet access
- A completed repair job with: DTC code, what you found, what you replaced
- Time needed: 30 minutes to learn the workflow; 2 minutes per claim after that

Set Up Claude as Your Warranty Claim Writing Assistant
Step 1: Create a free Claude account
Go to claude.ai in your browser. Click "Sign up" and register with your email address. Verify your email when prompted. You'll land on the main Claude conversation screen: a simple text interface with a message box at the bottom.
What you should see: A clean chat interface with a text input box that says "How can I help you?"
Troubleshooting: If Claude's site is slow, try during off-peak hours (evenings/weekends). The free tier works fine for this. You don't need Claude Pro.
